Vinaigrette with Red Wine Vinegar

Note from Mamta: This simple but tasty dressing comes from a camp we stayed in Tarangire National park in Tanzania in the summer of 2011. We stayed at this camp three nights and food was always great.

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar

  • 1 tsp brown sugar

  • 10 ml. olive oil

  • Black pepper to taste, freshly ground

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tbsp. chopped red and green peppers. You can add some green/red chilli too.

  • 1 tbsp. chopped red onion

Instructions

  1. Place everything in a jar and give it a good shake.

  2. Serve with any fresh salad
