Mint Raita 3, With Mint Leaves and Onions (Yoghurt)
Pudina Raita 3, With Pyaz
This raita is suitable for a hot summer day because it is very refreshing. It can be served as a dip too. It is very easy and quick to make. Serves 4
2 cups natural yoghurt or dahi
2 tbs. fresh mint leaves, washed and finely chopped
1 medium (100 gm) onion, peeled and finely chopped. Red onion is nicer.
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp. chilli powder
1/2 cumin seeds
Dry fried cumin seeds in a wok, cool and coarsely gound.
BePlace yoghurt in a bowl land beat lightly.
Add all ingredients and mix.
Sprinkle a little roast cumin on top too.
