Anu, on 1/9/2006 10:24am Hi Mamta I have made Ladyfinger (Bhindi) dry vegetable with onions in mustard (sarson) oil. By mistake I have put excess oil in it. Now it tastes only of oil. Pls suggest a makeover. How to make its taste better now? Pls help/advise. Thanks Anu
Mamta, on 1/9/2006 11:47am I can only think of two things you can do with it; 1. Tilt the wok/karahi, with bhindi pushed to the top end. Leave it like this for a while. A lot of the oil will drain down from the bhindi. Then either spoon off the oil from the bottom end or lift off the bhindi from the top end of the pan and transfer it to the serving bowl. 2. Boil potatoes, peel and slice them into fingers. stir them into the bhaji. But thsi method will dilute your spices and salt too, and may not give good result. Perhaps someone else here will tell you another way. Mamta
